As the deals keep forming, we’ll keep on reporting them. So in case you miss one, we’ll be here to remind you. On that note, here’s another major deal that came together earlier last week. The Sydney-based game developer, Big Time Gaming (BTG), landed a huge deal with Sony Pictures. Indeed, the agreement will allow BGT to design and develop a slot based on the popular Sony Pictures game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Besides sealing the deal with Sony, BTG managed to shine the brightest and fought off the competition. In fact, as the rumour goes, several other major game providers were looking to partner up with Sony. Unfortunately for them, Sony chose Big Time Gaming to put together the game.
Where and when
The game will launch in October. Also, the game will first hit the floors in Las Vegas at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E). The G2E is an annual gaming trade show which is held in “The Gambling Capital of the World” and organised by the AGA & Reed Exhibition. Also, LeoVegas landed the exclusivity right to launch the game on 18th of November on its network. So, this gives all the UK fans of the show the chance to be one of the first to try it out. After the exclusivity lifts, the game will roll out on Scientific Games and Microgaming Networks around the world and other operators in the core regulated markets.
A final word from Big Time Gaming
Nik Robinson, CEO at BTG expressed gratitude about the recent deal with Sony. He said, “We are delighted to have been awarded the licence for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? And we are extremely proud of our first game offering in a series of slots with the brand’s key identity at heart. Sony’s confidence in our ability to do the brand justice strengthens our market-leading position.”
Undoubtedly this deal will go down in history for BTG. So get ready for what could be a great release. And remember to Be on the lookout for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire video slot! Who knows, it could be you!
