Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) will offer sports betting services in the UK. The group will do so under a new B2B license. Indeed, the UK Gambling Commission granted a new permission to the Malta-based company. To sum up, the recently acquired license allows the group to offer its products to new markets and operators.
In essence, the UK permit complements its existing B2B and software licenses. In fact, the license has two different parts. The first gives the right to the company to offer betting services to its existing white label customers. And under the other, GiG can offer these products to the external brands operating in the UK.
But, the company’s activities reach far beyond sports betting. Even so, this vertical has still a huge potential. The main new areas to explore is of course eSports. But also new emerging markets, such as sports betting in the US. They, indeed, promise a lot! But it seems GiG is aware of these. And have recently has put a significant focus on developing new products in this segment.
A modular product
In short, the company’s sports betting product range consists of three parts. Its clients can integrate these modules as a standalone product. But they can also provide for a complete solution. That is if they use the company’s GiG Core platform. The GiG Sports Connect includes proprietary and aggregated odds. And finally, the GiG Goal is a front-end solution directed mainly at mobile.
GiG offers products and services across the whole value chain of the industry. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange market. It adopted the vision of making gaming fair and fun. Through its ecosystem of products, it connects many elements of the industry. For its partners and suppliers, GiG strives to create the best experiences on the market.
