Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has inked yet another deal, and this time it’s with Metal Casino (MC). The premium supplier will provide its sports betting services to the operator. MC plans to launch its brand new sportsbook before June 2019. And so, even the fans of heavy metal and guitars will have a place to bet on their favourite sports team.
The latest deal marks another step in integrating the casino with GiG solutions. In fact, MC launched on the supplier’s Core platform only a year ago. But the cooperation proved GiG’s model works fine with the operator. And so, the decision came to widen the offering for the players. As a result, the new agreement means MC can launch its very own sportsbook.
As the name suggests, the founders of MC have in common music. Indeed, they all come from the musical, gaming and tech industry. “Metal and Rock fans enjoy both music and sports. And, this makes the launch a safe bet within our vertical strategy. We have a loyal fan base and earned brand love. We hope to increase our superb conversion numbers with it” said MC CMO Clas Dahlén.
GiG is currently a Malta-based tech supplier, however, they’re listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Since 2012, its ecosystem of products connects operators, users, and players. It offers services for all verticals of the online gaming industry. The company has, praised the cooperation so far. Plus, they’re welcoming the extension of the services, too.
“MC is an existing customer of GiG. We will continue to create an outstanding betting experience for its users. And to grow the sports betting vertical together,” commented GiG Sports Director Endre Nesset. “We are very happy to announce this partnership with MC. It will provide the brand with our cutting edge technology. And also flexible sports betting services to support their expansion,” he added.
