Playtech in partnership with FraudForce

Playtech in partnership with FraudForceIn a recent press release, Playtech (PT) announced they’re partnering up with FraudForce (FF) to improve players’ security checks. In essence, PT plans to integrate FF to its player management system (IMS). Consequently, this will open the doors to a new technology to all of PT operators. So, let’s see what the new addition is, and how it works.

Hidden links

The new partnership allows the operators to do live checks on players account. In fact, the tool performs checks in milliseconds. And it does that by seeking hidden links between devices and suspicious accounts. It recognizes previously used devices to form a link. And then, the operator can decide to Deny, Review, and Approve the account and the transaction in question.

“Everyone at PT is happy to be working with FF. IMS is already the most comprehensive player management system in the industry. But we can enhance its capabilities even more. We are passionate about equipping our operators with world-class fraud tools. And our partnership with FF is a key part of our strategy to deliver this. FF is a powerful weapon in the war on cybercrime in online casino gambling. Its integration into IMS provides a seamless tool to our licensees.” Said Shimon Akad, COO, at PT.

FraudForce recognise the importance of the deal

Ed Wu, VP of Global Partnerships at FF said “We’re happy that PT is joining forces with FF to make the Internet safer. And a less complicated place for its licensees. Our partnership strengthens the ability to spot risks and remediate fraud threats. It’s a fantastic feeling to be able to work together to give users an extra level of confidence.”

The results

Since its establishment, the tool has identified over 5 Billion devices. In fact, FF together with the Iovation’s network review around 30 Million transactions a day and stop close to 300,000 fraud attempts. And of course, fraud prevention efforts should be applauded since they protect us all!
