Yggdrasil shows great growth

2018 has proven to be a great year for most game providers and operators. And nothing is different when it comes to Yggdrasil. With their total operating revenues up by 65% (£5,6 Million). The prognosis is looking really good for this online and mobile game provider.

The founder and CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said when releasing the numbers.

“Yggdrasil is once again able to present another eventful quarter with strong growth and further expansion. Player rounds increased by 66% from the second quarter. And revenues reached £5.67 Million, representing an uptake of 65%. During the quarter we intensified our investment. And we focused on the organisation, product and business verticals.”Yggdrasil shows great growth

So what’s the traction for the positive numbers trend?

As we continuously report on growth coming from operators and game providers we have seen a common denominator. In fact, there seems to be a direct correlation with growth and money spent! Just like the old saying goes ” you need to spend money to make money” and this looks to be the case for Yggdrasil as well.

In fact, in the past quarter, they’ve signed 13 new agreements. Plus, they’ve released lots of new titles, like Ozwins Jackpots, Easter Island, and more recently Hanjo’s Dojo!

Last but not least

We think it’s worth mentioning that entering the Czech market, launching the fan site, and their first Table Game undoubtedly had something to do with the positive numbers.

Finally, Fredrik Elmqvist went on record and said.

“On the back of the second quarter performance. I am excited by the opportunities lying ahead. I believe conditions to be right for Yggdrasil to capture more market share going forward. We will continue to put full emphasis on growth and further quality enhancement. And initiatives targeting both our products and the business, and ultimately paving the way for the future for the Yggdrasil Group.”
